Health & Safety Policy Statement
The Directors of Scaffold Erection Services Limited are fully committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all employees, customers and others that may be affected by our operations and to discharge our moral, legal and economic responsibilities. We aim to establish and maintain the highest standards of health and safety performance within our sector of our industry and achieve our health and safety objectives. This commitment extends to the provision of all necessary resources in connection with health and safety at work. We also recognize our responsibility for other persons when they are on our premises. We fully recognise that failure to adequately manage the health and safety elements of our business will result in harm to people and associated loss. At Scaffold Erection Services health, safety and welfare ranks equally with other business objectives, where health and safety management is a line management responsibility and must be an integral part of all activities. However we require the full support and co-operation of all employees to ensure the effective implementation of the Company Policy and Safety Management System, as a collaborative effort. SCAFFOLD ERECTION SERVICES LIMITEDENVIRONMENTAL POLICY Scaffold Erection Services Limited has a reputation for producing excellent standards of scaffolding, combined with a high quality service when delivering our product. The Management recognizes that, whilst the processes involved during general activities does not impact negatively on the quality of the environment, there is always the potential for our general activities to have a potential impact on the environment, the construction process itself, and the materials used, have a potential impact on the environment. The Company has therefore continually assesses and monitors all activities, with the aim of minimizing the impact of its activities on the environment. The Company will: · Communicate this Policy to all members and staff of the Company, and make it available to the Public and other interested parties. · Ensure that the Policy is adopted to all contractors we employ, and seek to ensure that theyThey operate within the principles of this Policy. · Endeavour to comply with all current environmental legislative requirements, and with all our Customers’ environmental requirements. · Review and monitor Environmental Objectives at every Management meeting. · Ensure employees are trained and appropriately supervised in order that they can meet the Company’s environmental objectives. · Seek to reuse and recycle raw materials wherever possible. · Seek to reduce to a practical minimum the chances of polluting the water environment, and seek To reduce the emissions to air from plant and vehicles used in our operations.
